A Quartz render of the lab3120 corpus, stood up 2026-08-13 to show what the tool does with markdown it has never been told anything about.
Nothing here got hand-written for the web. Eleven markdown files went in; Quartz produced every page, every link, the search index, the graph, and this navigation from them.
What to look at
The sidebar graph. Quartz drew that from the [[wikilinks]] already in the notes. Nobody described the structure to it.
Backlinks, at the foot of any page. Every note lists what points at it. Obsidian shows you that locally; Quartz publishes it.
Search. Press / or click the box. The index got built at build time and ships as a file — no server answers the query, your browser does.
Folder and tag pages. Generated, not authored.

What this render does NOT show
The corpus arrived without git history, so Quartz fell back to filesystem timestamps for its dates. It warned about that during the build rather than guessing quietly.
The theme, fonts, and colours all sit at Quartz’s shipped defaults. Only three settings changed for this render: the page title, the base URL, and switching off the upstream author’s analytics account.
